NEW DIGITAL ARTISTE RECENTLY SIGNED UP BY WARNER MUSIC COMPANY

Warner Music Central Europe has offered its first record deal with digital personality Noonoouri, releasing its debut single Dominoes with German DJ Alle Farben on Friday.


Artificial intelligence (AI) technology is used to create Noonoouri's voice, based on the  voice of  a real singer but modified to have a distinct sound.




According to the PA news agency, the track's songwriters and musicians  will receive royalties and publishing shares, just like any traditional song would do.


The character's first track, Dominoes, featured 38-year-old German DJ and  producer Alle Farben, real name Frans Zimmer, and was written by a group of musicians and songwriters.



The clip also features an avatar wearing Kim Kardashian's  Skims, which was chosen by Noonoouri designer Joerg Zuber.

Commenting on his first clip on Instagram, Mr. Zuber said:
"After two years of hard work on this musical project, we can finally share this incredible teamwork with the world – thanks to @warnermusic.de for trusting us #TheBeginning.




A spokesperson for Warner Music Central Europe said:

“Noonoouri is a longtime digital character that we've signed on to the record.

 
“She was not made by AI, although AI-powered technology was used to help her create the voice.

 
“Talented musicians and songwriters wrote and recorded her first track Dominoes, and we can't wait for fans to experience it.”
