The First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, assured Nigerians that President Bola Tinubu's administration has good intentions for the country, despite the difficulties many Nigerians face as a result of the removal of fuel subsidy.
Senator Tinubu urged Nigerians to look beyond the current situation in the country and see the big picture and see the light at the end of the tunnel.
She said this while receiving the wives of the military chiefs and the Inspector General of the police, headed by the wife of the Chief of Staff of the Ministry of Defense and the President of the Association of Defense Wives and of the Police, Oghogho Musa.
The first lady said President Tinubu's administration is doing all it can to ensure that it lessens the impact of fuel subsidies elimination, adding that Nigerians will start to reap the benefits. the fruits of their efforts as the benefits of this policy begin to materialize.
She said her favorite project, the Innovation Hope Initiative, also supports the government in this regard and that is why she sought the support of the department heads' wives.
The First Lady, in a statement issued by the Special Counsel for Media and Public Affairs, Busola Kukoyi, said: “From time to time, we will need your various associations, at least to be able to reach the women in your various barracks to reassure them that we have good intentions for this country, that they need to be patient, and that anything we can do to improve what the grant has done for us, we believe that there is always light at the end of the day.

She promised that the RHI would soon reach the vulnerable widows of fallen military officers.
